Ramneek Bhasin founded Mobio Networks in 2005. Mobio is a company focused on mobile consumer data applications. Most recently he was an Executive-in-Residence (EIR) at Storm Ventures. He was focused on helping Storm build a portfolio of mobile wireless and infrastructure software companies with contemporary business models. Prior to that, Ramneek was CEO of Vialto Corp.. a company he founded in 2000 and successfully led efforts in its 2004 acquisition by Cisco Systems Inc. Prior to its acquisition, Vialto was a leading provider of enterprise software solutions that enabled remote, voice-driven, multimodal (voice and data) interaction with corporate information using any standard telephone, wired or wireless. Vialto’s cost-effective solutions, such as employee directed Personal Information Management application were designed for large enterprise deployments, and enabled easy, secure and reliable access to corporate communications. Previously, Ramneek co-founded WSB Technologies, a leading Systems Integrator and Technology Management Consulting firm. Ramneek as Chief Operating and Marketing Officer was instrumental in building an entrepreneurial company funded entirely from profitable operations. Prior to WSB Technologies, Ramneek was at Schlumberger VLSI Test Division. As Director of Software Strategy, he was responsible for managing a complex roadmap. He served on management boards for Software Quality and Schlumberger’s strategic alliances with Intel and Yokogawa. Ramneek has also held technical and management positions at Digital Equipment Corp. and Synercom Technologies. Ramneek received his M.S. from Louisiana State and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK), India. Ramneek holds a US Patent on “System and Methodology for Voice Activated Access to Multiple Data Sources and Voice Repositories in a Single Session.”
