TiE’s Entrepreneur Week will feature its Wireless Day – a day of insights and networking for those in the mobile industry.  The afternoon will begin with a PowerConnect session on the cutting edge developments around Augmented Reality.  In this session, you’ll hear from entprepreneurs and mobile experts on the emerging field of mobile augmented reality (AR) that allows for connected experiences between real and virtual worlds.   You’ll hear about the applications that use AR, the devices that support them, and the business models proposed to monetize these applications.  As a PowerConnect event, this interactive discussion will enable attendees to exchange ideas and build relationships with key constituents in the mobile industry.  You’ll make important connections with fellow entrepreneurs with relevant interests and experience as well.

Later in the afternoon, we will host a panel on Mobile Metrics and Analytics.  In this session, you’ll hear from a variety of panelists on what metrics and analyses are being used to shape the mobile user experience and deliver ROI for mobile advertisers.   We will explore the unique aspects of the mobile environment and how it compares to metrics and analytics on the wired web as well.  

As with the other days of TiE Entrepreneur Week, we will conclude the speaker portion of the day with a keynote from a wireless industry luminary – stay tuned for an announcement soon!   Following the keynote address, you’ll have the opportunity to mingle with other attendees and speakers over dinner and cultivate the connections you made during the afternoon.
