Date: April 28, 2020

Time: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PST

Join TiE Silicon Valley and Dave Stevens law group to answer your questions of “Preserving Your Intellectual Property at Time of a Disaster”. Startup finances are bound tight at time of uncertainty, and are stress tested in a time of disaster. The current pandemic is an unprecedented challenge to businesses in every market. Most companies are now in a very strict and conservative mode right now, some even in survival mode. Maintaining a company’s value is imperative, and nothing defines value like a company’s intellectual property. In this webinar, we will discuss how a company can preserve and even grow their company’s intellectual property value. Most often in tech companies, IP defines their value not only in terms of dollar value, but also in terms of longevity. We will discuss how to preserve and grow value in patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and other assets that are precious to a company.

Date: April 29, 2020

Covid-19 has disrupted our world like nothing we have seen before; large retailers, financial institutions, businesses all are experiencing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Businesses are forced to adapt rapidly to the new normal. This new normal stage requires robust Crisis-Recovery- Growth (CRG) strategies and an execution plan across all channels.

In this webinar, we will be covering how to pivot from the standard content marketing plan, repopulate the content calendar, and reprioritize the channel amplification.

As COVID-19 continues to play a major role in our daily lives, we want to share the latest on Facebook’s efforts to support our small business community through new resources and tools. We know this is a critical time for small businesses and we are committed to making it easy to find help, training and support from our teams.

During this challenging time, we’re looking to support our partners as we all look to support the small business community. We would like to invite you and your organization to join us in a webinar for governments and partners who are supporting the SMB community during this time as we discuss our Small Business COVID resources and how we can better work together.

On April 10, 2020, the Small Business Association (SBA) issued additional guidance to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed by Congress on March 20, 2020. The CARES Act offers relief for businesses experiencing economic hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. The April 10, 2020 guidance focused on key terms of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), but did not go far enough to address concerns harbored by VC- and PE-backed companies.

Our unique and beautiful planet is witnessing an event of the millennium. How we live, work, eat, breathe, and take care of each other has transformed in haste. The economic, social, political, and health related fallout from this virus will reverberate for some time to come. The safety of everyone and taking care of those affected is paramount right now. As a firm, alleviating your concerns during this time is most important to us. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. We know that we’re going to get through this, together. There is a tremendous amount of help out there, please take full advantage of it. As part of going through this together, we have assembled a list of 24 strategies that will help you right now:

We want to share some important knowledge regarding the CARES Act and how it may impact your organization as well as other COVID-19-centered content.

We will regularly be updating this platform.

However, we can’t do this alone and, with this in mind, we would like to invite you to share your contribution on the platform www.startupsvscovid.com and help us spread the word so that we can, together, help startups help India overcome this challenge. #StartupsVScovid
