Head of Market Understanding
David Yin is the head of market research at Eventbrite, a San Francisco based startup that provides tools for selling event tickets with over $1 billion in sales to date. He primarily focuses on developing market insights to drive business growth. Previously, David was a manager of insights and market intelligence at Avon, where he was responsible for over $2 million in research spending across multiple markets including Brazil, Russia, China, UK and the Americas. Prior to that, David spent several years at The Clorox Company in a variety of roles and businesses. During his tenure at the company, David led consumer insights for Greenworks, the first new brand launched by the company in over 20 years, as well as the laundry business, which included leading brand, Clorox Bleach. Earlier in his career, David was a chemical engineer specializing in new product development. David holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a master's degree in biomedical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
